Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport – This is it, the fastest car in the world. The Veyron is capable of reaching a top speed of 267 mph. It does this with a 8.0 liter 16 cylinder engine that can’t be beat. The car comes in several color combinations including a hot orange and black combo. The interior is super luxurious and can be custom fitted to you. Price? The Bugatti will only set you back about $242 million.

SSC Ultimate Aero TT – Fighting with the Bugatti to be the fastest, this Shelby Super Car’s top speed is rated at 257 mph. The Aero TT comes with a 6.345 liter V-8 engine with a six speed manual transmission. This two seater features wing doors and rear wheel drive. This car will only set you back $654, 500.

Koenigsegg CCX – Next in line is the CCX series of cars. These come with a 5.0 liter 32 valve V-8 engine that reaches speeds of 250 mph. Priced at $720,000 this car was voted one of the 10 most beautiful cars by Forbes magazine.

Let’s move on to exotic sports cars.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMS – The SLS comes with a 6.3 liter DOHC 32 valve V-8 engine and seven speed manual transmission. The car goes from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 120 mph. The top speed is limited by the car manufacturer. The SLS sells for $200,000. Your SLS comes with the gull wing doors.

Porshe 911 Turbo – This exotic comes with a 3.6 liter flat 6 engine. It is capable of going from 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds. This Porshe features rear wheel and rear end drive and corners with ease. It will set you back about $124,000.

Audi R8 Spyder – This is the car from the Iron Man movies that Tony Stark drove. It features a 5.2 liter DOHC V10 engine. The Spyder can reach 60 mph in 4 seconds and has a top speed of 192 mph. Your Spyder is a bargain at only $161,000.

Lamborghini Gallardo – The Gallardo comes with a 5.2 liter V-10 engine. It is capable of generating 520 horsepower at 8000 rpm. The car will reach 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. The interior is snug but richly appointed. This model will set you back about $200,000.

Lastly, let us tackle a few sports cars that are somewhat affordable.

Dodge Viper – This car has been a unique American sports car. The economy has forced it out of production, but it is still a great sports car. The Viper comes with an 8.4 liter V-10 engine. Lotus Elise Roadster – This sports car comes with a 1.8 liter DOHC 4 cylinder with VTTL-1. It goes from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds and reaches speeds of 150 mph. This car is priced at a reasonable $50,00.
