Manchester City fans have described Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s attempt to goad Claudio Bravo as cringe-worthy ahead of Saturday’s derby.

Manchester United striker Ibrahimovic posted a video on his official Instagram page showing him folding up a training kit for City’s new £17m goalkeeper.

It included the message: “Welcome to Manchester! Here’s some training gear, you’re gonna need it. See you Saturday.”

But City fan Dave Brown responded, saying the stunt was ‘totes cringe.’

Harry Newton added: “United are literally a marketing stunt.”

Bravo could make his debut at Old Trafford in Saturday’s derby following his move from Barcelona.

The keeper has been training alone during the international break to prepare himself for what could be his first start in a City shirt.

Pep Guardiola must decide between the Chilean and Willy Caballero, who has started every league game so far this season.
