Through the first six months of the year, here are the top 20 drivers in merchandise sales.
20. Jamie McMurray
Driving for car owner Chip Ganassi, the veteran McMurray has won some of NASCAR’s biggest races, including the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400.
19. Ryan Blaney
Despite have the occasional rookie ups and downs, Blaney is having a solid 2016 campaign with Wood Brothers Racing, a team thatâs back full-time for the first time since 2008.
18. Austin Dillon
The grandson on Richard Childress, Dillon is having the best season of his still-young career driving the No. 3 Chevrolet.
17. Ryan Newman
Another veteran, Newman is in the final year of his contract with Richard Childress Racing and has yet to announce his 2017 plans.
16. Kyle Larson
Like Dillon, Larson is in his third full season of Sprint Cup racing and is enjoying his best year to date. Both drivers are still looking for their first career victories.
15. Kurt Busch
The 2004 Cup champion has finished on the lead lap of all 20 races run this year, tying a record. He has already won this year, too.
14. Martin Truex Jr.
The move from Chevrolet to Toyota has so far paid big dividends for Truex and the Furniture Row Racing team, who are strong contenders again this year.
